Sedona ARTSource Publication is Finalist for Art Direction in 2019 and a First Place Winner for Design in 2021 at the Eddie and Ozzie Folio Awards in New York
SEDONA, AZ- Locally owned Sedona ARTSource magazine has been honored as a finalist for the 2019 Eddie and Ozzie Folio Awards in the Art Direction category among city and regional magazines from across the USA, and in 2021 Awarded a First Place recognition for design for among new magazines.
“For more than 25 years, the Eddie & Ozzie Awards have recognized excellence in uncompromising journalism and gorgeous design across all sectors of the publishing industry … This year’s short list features the crème de la crème of content creators and designers,” states the Folio website.
Sedona ARTSource is a bi-annual production that focuses on Sedona, Arizona and serves the community by promoting the arts and artists in the genres of visual, performing, design, literary and culinary arts in each issue.
Sedona residents and life-long arts professionals Kristina Gabrielle, Greg Lawson, Lynn Alison Trombetta and Rick Cyge have worked together seamlessly since the launch of the project in 2017.
Kristina Gabrielle, art director for the magazine, has been in advertising and editorial design for more than twenty years and will be attending the Manhattan awards event this October. She said, “We are honored to be acknowledged in the final round as one of only five magazines from Maine to California have landed as finalists in this category. It's a privilege also to represent Sedona at the Folio Awards event in the Big Apple!”
Lynn Alison Trombetta serves as editor and writer for the magazine. She is an author and accomplished musician who, together with Rick Cyge are appreciated for their live performances and recorded musical accomplishments singularly and as the cherished duo, Meadowlark.
Greg Lawson, publisher of Sedona ARTSource is noted for his work as a natural history photographer but landed in publishing in 1982 and has continuously produced magazines and resource publications along with soft and hard-cover books in the fields of art and philosophy since then.

2021 ArtSource wins at Folio Awards for New Magazine Design

ArtSource Media of Sedona, Arizona was a winner this month when the publishing industry’s Folio Awards were handed out in New York. The stated purpose of the annual gala is to celebrate ‘the best and the brightest’ in the publishing field in a variety of categories.
Artsource Arizona magazine was awarded the top spot in the ‘new magazine design’ category, and additionally earned ‘honorable mention’ in the ‘new magazine launch’ category.
“It’s a great honor to represent the arts community and to be able to introduce so many talents to a new audience with each issue. To have Artsource Magazine receive this peer-selected award is a real honor that crowns my forty years in publishing” said Greg Lawson, Publisher at ArtSource Media.
